With a background in natural resource management and a passion for storytelling, Shay has built a career as an environmental communicator. She brings over a decade of experience in environmental science, nonprofit outreach, and community engagement and thrives on elevating the impactful work of conservation organizations across the country.

Shay offers a versatile skill set, from event coordination and print design to social media strategy and website development. She creates thoughtful, tailored communications that inform, inspire, and connect with audiences in meaningful ways.

Outside of work, you’ll find Shay hiking, running, cycling, reading, or spending time with her husband and their beloved dogs, Ivy and Poppy.

She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Conservation of Natural Resources from Texas Tech University and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from Western Colorado University.
